    Description

    This is a new-old-stock 3" cloth patch that can be ironed on or sewn on.  It is for a major milestone of the Olds division building one million new cars (AGAIN!) for the 1978 model year.  This patch was passed out to assembly-line employees and no doubt sent to dealers back then for all the uniform shirts for mechanics and parts-counter people.
    Down through the years Buick, Chevrolet, Olds etc would offer so many great collectibles commemorating factory-sponsored events.  That's why there are so many cool collectibles that have the Buick or Cadillac name on them.  Management was buying small quantities of things like this all the time.  Leftovers would be sent out to high performing auto dealerships across America.
