Wizard of Oz Porcelain Individual Teapot Cup with Lid
Classic Story of Alice in Wonderland written 150 years ago by Lewis Carrol, has been brought to life by Paul Cardew in this fascinating artwork.
Paul Cardew is a world famous UK artist, specializing in teapots and accessories for over 35 years.
Wizard of Oz Individual Teapot Cup with Lid is in excellent pre-owned condition. There are no chips, scratches, cracks or any other defects. No grazing or crackling to the artwork or porcelain. The colors are very vibrant and the art subjects are still pristine. The insides of the pot and cup are clean with no staining or marks or any other signs of use.
Features: Teapot holds 16 fl oz and features wrap around art work with Dorothy, Toto, her Pals and Glinda the Good Witch of the South. The teapot sits in the teacup which holds up to 10 fl oz, it features Dorothy with the Wicked Witch of the West. The handles are rainbow and a flying monkey is painted on the lid's knob. One of the most clever details is of her Kansas house caught in a tornado, this depiction is painted on the inside of the cup as well as the bottom half of the teapot!
