The Series 9500 Marine Intercom System is an ideal intercom/radio communications solution for demanding marine operations. Our Series 9500 system provides a reliable and effective solution for high-noise workboat environments, such as law enforcement/homeland security, border patrol, fire/rescue boats and special operations. The U9510BS Belt Station has been specifically designed for harsh marine environments. The housing and controls have superior resistance to the elements, providing years of dependable service. The units have a 2-position rocker switch that allows for the following communication modes: IC – Microphone is off, and the Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch is used to talk over the intercom. Typically used in extreme noise environments. RAD – Microphone is on, or “hot”, for hands-free intercom. PTT is used to transmit over the selected radio. Standard mode of operation. The U9510BS also provides connection to a portable radio (via C95-62PR and C6200 adapter cords), allowing the user to disconnect from the intercom system and board a second craft (boat, helicopter, etc.), while maintaining communications.
