These are from a lost freight auction and I do not have any info on what the application is for but would appreciate any info you may have on them.
It measure 1.25 inch wide by 3.137 " long and 0.354 inch high there are 4 mounting holes and two diagonally from eachother are a larger size than the others so you can't get them turned around.
If you pass a magnet under the sensor in the direction of the arrow on the switch it causes the terminals on the two sides to go from infinite to zero to infinite to zero and back to infinite resistance as I will try to describe below
I drew a diagram to try to explain this  function, the terminals are not numbered or lettered so I assigned A B to one side and  C D  to the terminals on the other side.  A and B have constant continuity to each other , C and D have constant continuity to each other.
There is an arrow in one corner that has a notch in it.
The two male spade terminals on one side have constant 0 ohms continuity to each other (A B )
The terminals on the other side are slightly offset and also have continuous 0 ohm continuity to each other ( C D )
They have infinity resistance to the other side until a magnet passes the length of the sensor in the direction of the arrow.
Passing the magnet along the back side down the center it goes from Infinite to 0 resistance within the fist 1/4 inch of travel  then goes to infinite resistance as it passes the center and then back to zero resistance again until the last of the length of the switch. and back to infinite as the magnet leaves the switch.
If you pass the magnet lengthwise  the opposite direction of the arrow it stays infinite resistance until it travels even with the two opposing male spade terminals (B &D ) it goes to 0 resistance then goes to infinite resistance as it passes the  center then back to 0 resistance as it passes the other two terminals and then back to infinite resistance as it leaves the switch.
