NOS 1 Gallon Commercial Automotive/Furniture Leather Dye Red
Renewing mix for light colored leathers, especially red.
Label is getting stained from cold, dark, moist storage.
This color is semi-transparent even after 2 coats when applied over black or other very dark colors.
Colorex is used as mixed or may be thinned with MEK, acetone, lacquer thinner, white gas or ammonia, it may be tinted with dispersion pigments.
For production spray application, it is a one-step single stage product.
Colorex was in business for over 45 years supplying the professional leather industries.
Containing aniline dyes and natural oils and having no lacquers or catylized urethanes it remains flexible for many years. It will not crack on its own - only if the original finish under it is brittle.
Dented jug has some surface dust, contents are still full, unused clean and liquid.
It does not require a cover coat, except when gloss is desired. Not water based, 1 spray coat dries in
30 minutes at room temperature
for handling.
Prep your leather with solvent to clean leather and open the pores before spraying.
