    Description

    Featured here is a delightful decorative dinner plate from American Limoges of Sebring, Ohio, in their pattern, “Old Virginia Rust”. Upon the center of the plate is a transferware image of a building in the style of Virginian architecture. The coloration is a deep brown undertone with rust-colored highlights, hinted at by the name. American Limoges is known for its homage to its namesake, Limoges of France, and it has that same quality, including the fluted edge. Unmarked.
    It is in great condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a few glaze bubbles on the underside from manufacture. See pictures for closer detail.
    Measures 10” in diameter and weighs 1 lb 7 oz prior to packaging.
